The Saturday front by The Times-Reporter gets the nod for best front page of the weekend for the impact of its centerpiece.
Heck, even the headline has "impact."

The story by Lee Morrison give the latest on Ohio's burgeoning natural gas industry. Morrison's story updates readers on planned developments at local processing facilities, which mean local construction jobs and up to 575 local drilling industry jobs.

Framed in a generous dose of white space, the large two-county map — created by staffer Michael Weiss —  shows five locations of four local companies that are expanding. Each numbered site has a corresponding paragraph of information in the tan box at lower right.

The image of the drilling rig serves as a mast of sorts for the main and secondary headlines.

Nice page.
