WHEN TO USE IT This format is good for profiling an athlete or coach. If you decide to use this format, it's a good idea to anchor its location and establish a publication frequency. For example, some papers could centerpiece the package on the sports cover each Monday (typically slow day for local sports. Intensely local, the photo and text are substantial enough in size and length to warrant the centerpiece position.

HOW TO USE IT Touched on above, this could be used on a set day of the week. Working ahead to a point where 3-5 sports Q&A packages could be at the ready will help ease some anxiety felt at deadline. About its content, student athletes or coaches are candidates for this package. Ample space allows for 5-6 questions, dominant photo and a bio box that can be edited for either a coach or student athlete.

WHERE TO FIND IT This ASF is available in QuarkXPress versions 4, 6 and 7, as wel as InDesign versions CS, CS2 and CS3. All templates and fonts can be found here.
