GateHouse News Service is pleased to announce unique Super Bowl content for you this week and next, to be featured online with our Big Game Challenge for those who are participating in the contest, and in a special print section.

The content is coming from our partnerships with Pro Football Weekly and Bleacher Report, and in-depth reports on the New England Patriots and New York Giants from those regions’ GH newspapers.

What to expect and when:

1

Special section

We are creating an eight-page broadsheet section with preview content from our partners at Pro Football Weekly. Some of the stories include 46 reasons to watch the Super Bowl, expert picks on who will win, and a look back at the Giants' and Patriots' seasons.

The inside pages will have half-page ad spots, with a full-page position on the back and a 6 x 4 strip on the cover. This will be available on Monday.

2

Online section

We will also add a Super Bowl news section to all of our websites, newspaper.com/super-bowl. This will feature the day's top headlines from our GateHouse papers covering the game, Pro Football Weekly and Bleacher Report, one of the fastest-growing sports sites, with whom we're also a partner. PFW will have several reporters in Indianapolis starting Monday, so expect lots of news and video on this page.

Also, we'll place a carousel item linking to the latest stories on this page on your sites Monday and Feb. 4.

Regional sections

GateHouse New England will offer a Patriots-centric special section for its newspapers on Tuesday, to run Feb. 2, 3 or 4. For more information, contact Patriot Ledger/Enterprise editor Chazy Dowaliby, chazy@ledger.com. It is also creating a Patriots microsite, with local, GHNS, Bleacher Report and Pro Football Weekly content.

The Utica (N.Y.) Observer-Dispatch is creating a Giants special section. For more information or to share content, contact editor Kris Worrell, kworrell@uticaod.com.
