Find out who will judge 2010 Best of GateHouse contest

Judging for the 2010 Best of GateHouse contest is officially under way.

Eleven different editors and journalism organizations will judge this year's contest.

For the third consecutive year, Newseum will judge the Newspaper of the Year category.

Winners should be named by early June.

Here's a breakdown of who is judging what categories:

• News Writing: Alan Miller, Managing Editor, Columbus Dispatch

• Features Writing: Rosalie Stemer, Newsroom Writing Coach

• Sports Writing: Bob Heisse, Editor, Centre Daily Times

• Opinion Writing: Otis Sanford, Instructor, University of Memphis Department of Journalism

• Column Writing: Rosalie Stemer, Newsroom Writing Coach

• Photography: Ball State University

• Design: Ball State University

• Projects: Teri Hayt, Editor, Arizona Daily Star

• Multimedia: Kathy Best, Managing Editor/Digital News and Innovation, Seattle Times

• Special Sections: Mark Gauert, City & Shore Magazine editor, Sun-Sentinel

• Reader Involvement: Alec Harvey, Features Editor, The Birmingham News

• Best Sections: Michael Roberts, Newsroom Trainer
