The Bulletin's Friday centrpiece story on state employee layoffs gets an alternative treatment. The package lists each department affected, the job titles cut and the number of employees in that job who are being cut in the first wave of layoffs. Larger red numbers listed with each deapartment quickly show which is most affected. Two cutouts, a file photo and a staff photo illusrate a few of the departments. An online refer is tucked into the lower left corner as well.
