WHAT THEY DID: They asked intern Patrick Brewin, an English major at the University of Massachusetts - Lowell, to talk about his experiences working for GateHouse Media New England NorthWest of Boston group of weekly newspapers. He spoke in glowing terms about the sense of cameraderie that extended to him, the ability to get his "hands dirty" in the field, practicing real journalism, among other positive things.
