There are as many as 100,000 active missing people cases at any given time in the United States. While a lot of those will be resolved, many families never find any answers.

CONTENT TEAM MANAGER: Carlene Cox

REGIONAL EDITOR: Joyce Miller

PAPERS THEY SERVE: Lake Sun, St. James Leader-Journal, The Rolla Daily News, Daily Guide

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project looked at missing people across a five-county area, with graphics broken down by location, age and years reported missing. The story includes descriptions of 19 local people who reported missing and never found.
