As you might have noticed over the weekend, all GateHouse websites have turned pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and will remain so through October.

Also, GateHouse News Service has syndicated a Pink website to all GH properties, with the URL of newspaper.com/pink and, in New England, newspaper.com/paint-it-all-pink. The site will update daily with breast cancer news, national videos and updates from our Facebook and Twitter pages.

There is also a place for readers to submit their breast cancer survivor stories on all Pink sites. The ad at the top of the right rail links to a UGC area. All submissions will be moderated by GateHouse News Service.

We are publishing breast cancer videos from around GateHouse to the Our Videos tab, and local sites can post their own stories and videos. Here are instructions for how to post your local content to the Pink site.

Be sure to post all your breast-cancer-related content to the Pink site this month. On Oct. 10 we will add a Photo Galleries tab to the site for your event coverage and portraits of those surviving and fighting breast cancer in your area.

Finally, GHNS is looking for breast cancer news and survivor stories to share during October. Please submit stories like the following using the Submit National Content to GateHouse News Service syndication domain in Zope:

-- Profiles of local women, men, families and friends fighting breast cancer.

-- News about local residents involved in national breast cancer organizations or grassroots movements, with how to help information.

-- New breast cancer research or innovations from your local hospital or local health care professionals.

-- Other profiles or trend pieces you think are newsworthy, or that are moving reads.

-- Videos and photo galleries are welcome!
