I read on Poynter today The Associated Press has a new logo for the first time in decades.
The new look retains the stencil-like appearance in a more modern approach.
The post by Poynter's Andrew Beaujon also includes a visual showing the changing AP logo since 1900.
Neat stuff.
The official announcement on the AP site includes the press release, video of Tom Curley, AP's president and CEO, as well as a downloadable pdf that describes the branding of AP and the new logo.
The logo was designed by New York-based design firm Objective Subject.
