Local faces on the front page is a good thing

There's no better way to reflect the community you serve than to have readers faces throughout the paper. A recent front page from the Lake Sun in Camdenton, Mo., shows how it's done. 

 

• The all six school board candidates are shown in the skybox that pushes readers inside where they'll find each candidates' reasons why they want their votes.

With the right photo,  crop, headline and text, a skybox content promotion can direct readers deep inside the paper. Case in point: The (Fall River, Mass.) Herald News.
