Brad Dennison has been named Vice President of Publishing-Large Dailies for GateHouse Media.
Dennison, who has served as Vice President of GateHouse Media's News & Interactive Division since 2006, will start in his new role Jan. 2. The move is part of a company re-organization that places newspapers into three divisions: Large dailies, community newspapers and metros.
Dennison will manage the following newspapers:
Journal Star
Norwich Bulletin
Observer Dispatch
Rockford Register Star
State Journal Register
The Repository
Dennison is an 18-year veteran of the newspaper industry. He started his career as an award-winning journalist and editor at several newspapers including The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle and the Chicago Sun-Times. In 2006, Brad joined GateHouse to build the News Division, and since 2009 he has overseen online products and the News & Interactive Division.
