Last week, the 2012 Paint it All Pink campaign was rolled out to GateHouse ad directors and publishers. They were urged to connect with their newspapers' editorial departments to coordinate plans for this October initiative.
Paint it All Pink broadsheet and tab sections can be downloaded here. These are also in Saxotech for papers who have transitioned to the Design House; more information is below.
A reader callout for breast cancer survival stories can be downloaded here; add your local deadline and email contact information.
Other points to know:
-- Part of this campaign's mission is to benefit a local breast cancer charity, such as Susan G. Komen or your local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Find out which one your market is donating to.
-- Last year this campaign was renamed Paint it All Pink. If your market is using anything different, it must be approved by GateHouse legal. ContactYelena Zharskaya at yzharskaya@gatehousemedia.com.
-- Newspapers should incorporate the pink ribbon logo above in their mastheads for the month of October.
-- News & Interactive will turn the borders of your websites pink from Oct. 1 through 31. Also coming Oct. 1, we will turn on a section of your sites with the URL newspaper.com/pink, which will display your local breast cancer month headlines as well as updates daily from GateHouse News Service.
