Summer stories are popular right now –– anything from grilling steaks to gardening flowers to outdoor sports.

Take advantage of the slew of like-minded stories by linking the relevant ones using appropriate keywords.

For example, if you are publishing a story online about how to grill steaks perfectly, and you know of another story on your site about how to choose the right cut of steak, link the story you are publishing to that other story.

Try to use strong keywords phrases that people would be searching for this time of year, like "how to grill a flank steak," "cooking times for the grill" or "how to grill the perfect steak."

Don't forget about all those helpful articles from last summer, too! This is the perfect opportunity to revive them via linking. Don't let them go to waste –– by linking to them, you show readers where other helpful articles are, and you are pumping new life into them when someone clicks into them.

That means Google will also take another look at these articles and, hopefully, index them towards the top of search results for anything that has to do with "grilling steak."

Good luck, and happy linking!
