Inner Circle tips:
• We’re seeing several websites with plenty of updates – but rather than being posted “above the fold” in Top Stories, News Now and the carousel, the updates are posted under other sections, like news and sports. It’s great to publish to multiple sections, but for Inner Circle grading, we’re concentrating on those three areas for unique web updates because that’s what people see when they land on the website.
• It’s important for newspapers to link to their Facebook pages from their homepages, so readers can easily find and “like” them.
• Templates for community partner journalism and public service journalism ASFs can be found here and here.
