Couple big things going on with the AP Stylebook lately.

First, they tweeted today that they have officially reached 13,000 answers in the Stylebook Online's Ask the Editor section. With an archive like that, you are sure to find what you're looking for!

Secondly, on July 23, AP's Barbara Worth will be chatting on Twitter about broadcast writing. The chat starts at 2:30 EDT. Use the hashtag #APStyleChat to ask a question, or put it in the search field to view the conversation.

Finally, AP Stylebook has a small number of beta testers using its StyleGuard for Mac. The StyleGuard is meant to work with a word processing program to catch any AP Style errors you may have missed. After the feedback is in from the beta testers, and they have a chance to fine tune things, expect a release.

Here's some AP Style tips from @APStylebook:

Cap the "O" in Summer Olympics, Olympic gold medal, etc. London Games is up, but lowercase the games standing alone.

Olympics: Five linked rings symbolize the continents. The motto: Citius, Altius, Fortius (faster, higher, stronger).

Social media: Retweet has been part of our social media chapter since we added that section in 2010.
