A couple months ago, Jim Konrad, executive editor of the Norwich Bulletin, alerted me to an in-depth state report entitled "Dear Governor." The series — suggested, written and lead by the paper's Opinion Editor Ray Hackett — asked residents in each of the state's eight counties to sound off on issues and direct them to teh gubernatorial candidates.
