The Taunton Daily Gazette gets the nod for top front page of the weekend for its centerpiece and skybox.
The centerpiece story by Christopher Nichols touts the 300th birthday of the town of Dighton, Mass. The color of the monochrome package gives it a featurey feel. The large "300" really jumps out nicely at that size against the shaded background. The historical photo is actually of a book that celebrated the town's 250th anniversary.
Up top, rabid Patriots fans get something to satisfy them with a skybox advancing the game between New England and the Baltimore Ravens. If you watched the game on Sunday, you know the outcome. If not, check out the Gazette's front page from Monday, below.
