Here is a recommended letters to the editor policy from the GateHouse News Division.

 Letters about public affairs should be no more than 250 words, and should include your name, address and daytime phone number for verification. [NEWSPAPER NAME] reserves the right to refuse letters for any reason, and to edit for brevity, clarity, grammar or libel.


GateHouse Media redesign policy

• Once the decision is made to make major changes to a GateHouse publication nameplate, full newspaper redesign, or anything that could be considered major design or content changes, notify David Arkin, director of newsroom development at darkin@gatehousemedia.com.
• We will work with the newspaper to establish an agreeable process. This includes, but is not limited to, setting a budget and timeline, and developing a launch and post-mortem plan.
