The Holland Sentinel has an opening for a full-time web/local news editor. This person will be responsible for coordinating the flow of polished, engaging local news copy to both electronic and print platforms. The job involves implementing a daily news budget for new media, writing news and feature stories and ensuring that all stories for online or print publication meet top standards in grammar and style. Experience with local news coverage, new media and editing are required, as is good news judgment, a willingness to experiment with new approaches to news coverage and an ability to work well and communicate effectively with the public and fellow staff.
