How do you know which stories will get the best response on Facebook?
The last thing you want to do is start posting 10 or 20 stories a day, deeming them all Facebook-musts. Instead, pick four or five good stories and spread those posts out throughout the day.
A good place to start is with analytics. Check to see what are the most popular stories after each day, and then you will have an idea of what kind of stories people are responding to. Pick the stories that you think will have the most potential for online conversation and feedback from readers.
Other than stories, popular videos and photos are ideal for social media like Facebook. That is because people don't have to stop and read it –- they are attracted to the picture appearing on their Facebook wall. Plus, viewing photos and watching videos makes the land of Facebook much more entertaining, so be sure to post plenty.
Finally, like I discussed in my last post, be sure you use the tagging features whenever possible.
