The State Journal Register named front page of the day (05/04/12)

Today's centerpiece package of the Journal Register makes this page a winner.

A nice collage of comic book illustrations serves as the dominant point of focus, naturally very colorful in nature. Stylizing the headline in comic like font was a nice touch, the matching drop cap goes well. Putting this piece over the top was the decision to box each column of the story in comic book structure.

The strory, written by Natalie Morris, looks as though it is a print featue only... my effots to find it on the web were futile anyways. That fact might have been played up a bit, giving added value to the printed product.

Overall nice job.
