Halloween is just a few weeks away, so it's time for a spooky callout to get readers to send you their photos. Here's an idea from the Springfield State Journal-Register.
WHAT THEY DID: Springfield asked readers to send old Halloween photos of themselves in costumes, and they have almost 50 photos submitted in their gallery. Some of the photos are from just a few years ago, but some go way back, and it's so much fun to look at the old costumes -- lots of witches and Little Red Riding Hood.
TAKEAWAY: Try to the old photo callout for Halloween, or think of other Halloween callouts (pets in costume, standard kids in costume, Halloween parties, spooky decorations, etc.).
