Mike Turley joins content team at GateHouse

Mike Turley joins GateHouse Media News & Interactive Division as content team manager.

Mike Turley, former managing editor for digital delivery at the State Journal-Register in Springfield, Ill., has joined GateHouse Media News & Interactive Division as content team manager for the northern Midwest region of the company.

In his new role, Mike is one of three content team managers for our corporate organization. He will serve newspapers in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Minnesota. As content team manager for the region, Mike will help coordinate the efforts of regional editors and will be the corporate contact in the region. The content team managers focus on sharing content, regional projects and corporate initiatives, such as Inner Circle.

Mike started at The State Journal-Register in 1986. He’s worked as sports reporter, page designer, assistant sports editor, senior news editor and managing editor. He joins Sarah Corbitt, who is content team manager for the East, and Carlene Cox, who is content team manager for the West and South.
