THE POWER OF PINTEREST: Pinterest describes itself as a virtual pinboard. People “pin” interesting stuff they find on the Web to their boards and others follow you or browse to find your pins. Pinterest is very visual, so it’s perfect for our newspapers’ photos and other visually driven content, such as weddings, anniversaries and photo callouts, such as prom or graduation. During the webinar, we’ll go over examples of content you can pin, plus we’ll show you exactly how to set up your account, from start to finish. We’ll offer recommendations for how much to pin, in addition to best practices we’ve seen from other news organizations.
