Inner Circle evaluations for the third quarter got underway late in the afternoon on Monday. So far, 13 papers have been certified.
We realize the transition from Zope to Saxtotech created some technological difficulties for local newsrooms. In response, evaluations will be slightly altered.
• Platform-appropriate publishing: Posting “Only in Print” online is still a requirement, however, it does not need to be anchored on your site at this time. Posting this feature to your carousel, and letting it cycle out as new posts are added is appropriate.
• Photo galleries: Requirements for photo galleries remain in place. Some properties are having difficultly with the batch uploader. If you continue to have problems with the batch uploader, put in a ZenDesk ticket but continue posting galleries by uploading the images individually to meet this requirement.
• Video: Requirements for video remain in place, however, many properties have been unable to upload videos for a variety of reasons. If you are still unable to upload video, submit a new ZenDesk ticket as soon as possible. ZenDesk will be creating a list of affected properties, which will be noted as we evaluate for Inner Circle.
