Two GateHouse News Service columnists have recently written books:
-- Eric P. Bloom of Manager Mechanics -- both the name of his column that appears Fridays on GHNS and his Massachusetts-based leadership development company -- has released "52 Great Management Tips," which compiles a year of his GHNS columns. His advice ranges from dealing with difficult employees, to team leadership, to managing up. Although his company is geared toward people in the information technology field, it works for any new or young manager.
-- Diana Boggia of Canton, Ohio, M.Ed. and a parenting expert, is owner of Your Perfect Child. Her Family Matters column appears Fridays on GHNS, and her Your Perfect Child blog runs on the GateHouse national blog network, which appears on all of our websites. Her book "Parenting with a Purpose" is a compilation of her columns, which often answer reader questions from across the country. It can be purchased on her website or through booksellers nationwide.
