GateHouse News Service has added four blogs to the national lineup:
-- Suzette's Spiritual Cafe is written by Patriot Ledger (Mass.) columnist and nationally syndicated writer Suzette Martinez Standring. Two or three times a week, Suzette will treat readers to a thought of the day, her take on prayer and spirituality, and some insight into her life as a writer, mother and grandmother. Also, see her photos from a recent trip to Sicily.
-- Marketta Gregory writes Simply Faithful. She is a relatively new weekly religion columnist for GateHouse News Service, based in Rochester, N.Y., who writes about God, inspiring people and family.
-- Joyce Rothman is a Fall River, Mass.-based columnist, also a recent addition to GHNS, who writes about her struggles with cancer at Lessons from Cancer. Her journal is at times raw, spiritual and painful, but always hopeful.
-- Clergy Family Confidential is written by the Rev. Tim Schenck of Hingham, Mass. Blending religion and family with wit and humor, "Father Tim" will help give some guidance to your day. Or at least a chuckle.
Links to these blogs will appear at the bottom of your blog landing pages -- newspaper.com/community/blogs -- under a new Religion category, later this month. We will be discontinuing some blogs, too, that have not been updated in some time.
If you have any questions about these blogs or any of the national blogs, or if you have a community blogger who might be a good fit for this national network, contact GHNS director Lisa Glowinski, lglowinski@corp.gatehousemedia.com.
