As I wrote last week, the 2012 ACES conference was in New Orleans, and AP style gurus are always there to make announcements on additions to the stylebook and to address copy editors' questions. A roundup:

-- From AP's Ask the Editor feature:

A. Together with the 2012 printed edition in late May.

-- From AP Stylebook's Twitter feed:

The new book, coming in May, also will include an expanded social media chapter. @LukeMorris Storify: http://t.co/ijyHwo7Q #ACES2012 2 days ago

-- From ACES' Twitter feed:

added 13 pages on ethical issues and news values, expanded social media section

-- Editors from the Chicago Manual of Style were also at ACES. Here's a cool Storify collecting tweets on their updates, as well as AP Stylebook's.
