If you haven’t already, now is a good time to get those fireworks photos up on Facebook – whether your staff took them or they were submitted.

WHAT THEY DID: The La Junta (Co.) Democrat, Stuttgart (Ark.) Daily Leader and Leesville (La) Daily Leader posted galleries, reader submissions and other July 4th-related content to their Facebook pages. As of Thursday, the pages were getting good interaction from readers.

THE TAKEAWAY:  Callouts for reader photos often work best when asking for photos readers have already taken. July 4th barbecues and hanging out with friends and family are great photo opps, and your readers probably have images to share.
