The Repository in Canton, Ohio, enters its 56th year of honoring high school seniors with its Teens of the Month program.
WHAT THEY DID: A selection committee made up of students recommended by school administrators picks a senior boy and girl each month of the school year. The teens are featured in The Repository and on CantonRep.com with a photo and Q&A.
At the end of the school year, the committee selects a male and female Teen of the Year from the 18 monthly honorees. Each Teen of the Year receives a $1,000 scholarship.
