The Mansfield News (Mass.) has been named Sports Page of the Year in the 2009 Best of GateHouse contest.
Judges’ comments
“Easy writing, a good local column, a clean look, appealing layouts, lively headlines and dynamic photos combine for a winning entry. ‘Lesser’ sports and girls’ sports are not ignored, and lots of local names provide a good look at ‘Team Mansfield.’”
