Notes: Producer Maria Papadopoulos knows how to produce professional looking and sounding videos without spending a lot of time. The shot breakdown is basic:

-   Interview source (Maria does a nice job getting the source to provide and articulate the information she needs for the piece – getting the source to provide the information you need in a continous shot saves time in post(-production).

-   Maria lays the sources audio under the B-Roll footage – B-Roll and cutaway shots keep the video visually interesting. Match your B-Roll with what your source is saying, whenever possible.

You don’t have to spend a lot of time getting high-quality video pieces. When in doubt, do it like this video and follow the KISS rule when producing videos for you site.

Maria completed this video, including downloading the raw footage and editing, in less than an hour, she said.
